v2016.2 release of global data suite

Europa Technologies has announced a maintenance release of its prominent suite of global map data products.
Global map data products from Europa Technologies are used by many Fortune Global 500 companies, governments and missions of the United Nations. The company has global licence agreements with several leading map service providers, including Google.
As well as thousands of minor updates and enhancements, the new release of product suite includes:
- Political updates, including all changes published in ISO 3166-1
- Updates to 1st and 2nd level administrative boundaries
- Time zones with updated DST for 2016/2017
- Additions and updates to places layer
- Earthquakes layer updated with events to release date
Europa Technologies digital implementation of the CRESTA global zoning system, as used by insurers and reinsurers, has also been updated. Global CRESTA Plus now features increased resolution on zone definitions.
